Fits socks are simply the best socks I've ever worn. I use them for nearly everything now, from daily life, to skiing, to hiking. Fits originated from the same exact factory that Smartwood did, actually the brand is owned by the mill itself. They are essentially the same merino wool sock that Smartwool manufactures with a couple different features.

Fits calls it the full contact fit. The toe cup is actually shaped like the end of your foot, and has a different form of stitching to get rid of that little stubby bunchy thing you get with some socks. The sock also has a slightly different heel shape as the threads are stitched in a "Y" pattern, creating a nice tight lock onto your heal so the bottom of the sock doesn't bunch up. Last, the cuff at the top of the sock is slightly larger than most other socks and a tad tighter than the rest of the sock allowing for a tight fir against the ankle and no downwards slip, like most socks do. All these features put together and you have the perfect sock; formed to your foot, with no slide or bunching, and the bonus! Antimicrobial! Wear them for multiple days in a row with minimal funk and stretch. Its the only sock on the market that I have worn for more than two days in a row that didn't loose its structure or smell like an outhouse baking in the sun.
Whether your looking for something to wear to work or on a multi-day hike, fits has a sock to offer! My personal favorite are the Performance Trail Quarters, they have lived up to everything I've asked from them, and if anyone was looking for a good all around sock to try out they would be the ones I recommend. Go to their website and check em' out.

I'm not afraid to say that these socks will perform to your highest expectations. I have never had anyone come back and say they didn't like them. It truly is amazing how you can go through and completely re engineer something so simple as a sock and improve it with drastic results.
